Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute site manufacturing goals and lead execution of operations in support of site goals.
  • Build and manage workforce staffing plans based on customer requirements.
  • Own site/Global vision and communication for team.
  • Drive creation of staffing plans, schedules, quality initiatives, process improvement initiatives, and other critical projects in driving operational excellence.
  • Coach, mentor, measure performance, provide feedback, and drive accountability for teams/managers across all departments.
  • Establish best practices and standardization across site.
  • Drive efficiency and quality through leadership of process-focused approaches, process improvement initiatives, and root cause/corrective action exercises.
  • Lead and implement critical business initiatives across the team (project management).
  • Work effectively across functions (Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, HR, Finance, etc.).
  • Support customer service level agreements and initiatives across the world.
  • Collaborate/partner with project teams leading new product introduction and other manufacturing initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5-8 years' Previous Manufacturing Manager experience is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Strong Leadership, interpersonal, and team building skills required.
  • Experience in 5S or lean manufacturing is beneficial.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Office, Excel, and overall ability to use technology within the department and in production to create efficiencies, improvements, and reports.
  • Must have sense of urgency, be self-directed, and display strong organizational skills.
  • Previous experience working with a Global team is required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Required to stand, walk, and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
