Job Summary

The Graduate Assistant Coach is a key member of the Track & Field team at Benedictine College. This role involves assisting in all aspects of the program, including recruiting, scheduling, training, monitoring academic progress, promotions, fundraising, and coaching team members.

Responsibilities
  • Recruit and select talented student-athletes to join the team
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team performance
  • Monitor and support student-athletes' academic progress
  • Assist with fundraising efforts to support the team
  • Coach team members to achieve their full potential
Requirements
  • Commitment to the overall development of student-athletes and the mission of Benedictine College
  • High level of personal integrity and strong work ethic
  • Knowledge of and commitment to NAIA rules and regulations
  • Knowledge of sport-specific skills and technique
  • Demonstrated success in recruitment and coaching
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master's degree program at Benedictine College
  • Strong preference for competitive track & field experience, either participating or coaching
Compensation

Full tuition waiver (books and fees not included) with completion and approval of Tuition Benefit Form each semester.
