We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Altru Health. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality surgical care in the operating room.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain a sterile and safe environment for surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons and other medical staff during operations, ensuring the smooth execution of procedures.
- Organize and manage surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Provide patient care and support, adhering to established hospital policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices.
- Associate's degree in Surgical Technology or related field.
- 1+ year of experience in a surgical setting, preferably as a Surgical Technologist.
- Current certification as a Certified Surgical Technician (CST) or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
This role requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting of up to 50 pounds. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of focus and attention to detail.
