Corporate Account Director

The Corporate Account Director plays a pivotal role in driving business growth and expansion within assigned Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs). This position requires a strategic thinker who can develop and implement sales initiatives to target, qualify, and expand existing positions, ultimately closing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop a deep understanding of CONMED's strategic position in the Medical Device industry and within the Region for each product portfolio.
- Align short-term business needs with long-term CONMED strategy, setting quarterly goals to meet a three-year plan.
- Design and implement contract strategies in the Region that align with corporate objectives and support Business Unit aims.
- Provide comprehensive business reviews, develop enabling programs, and contracts to accelerate revenue growth, maintain pricing integrity, and protect margin.
- Execute and performance manage negotiated contracts from implementation to expiration to ensure full value is derived from CONMED Agreements.
- Support CONMED Shared Services and other internal organizations as needed to support Customer objectives.
- Deliver a differentiated experience, delighting Customers through operations excellence, value beyond the sale, and effective communication.
- Meet Customer commitments, resolve problems, and exceed Customer expectations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Sales, or Marketing, with a preference for candidates with an MBA/MHA.
- 10+ years of medical device or medical technology sales experience, with 5+ years of recent and relevant experience in IDN sales.
- Current relationships with Executives and key personnel in assigned accounts.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present to broad audiences across all levels of leadership.
- Demonstrated expertise with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and OneNote.
- High-integrity, high-trust, team-oriented, with a safe driving and travel record.
- Travel up to 60%.
- MBA/MHA preferred.
- Additional experience in sales, marketing, supply chain, healthcare economics, or related areas desirable.
- Knowledge of Contract Law.
- Sound analytical skills, with the ability to manipulate and interpret data.
- Self-motivated and solution-oriented, with a strong relationship building, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to operate in a matrixed marketing environment and work effectively with sales, sales management, finance, and customers.
CONMED is driven to work together with our customers to make healthcare better. This role requires access to customer accounts as a function of the job. Therefore, meeting account requirements regarding vaccinations is required as an essential job function, including the COVID-19 vaccination.
