Job Overview

The Production Manager is a key role at Wolverine Fuels, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the mine production team. This position requires strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure that all aspects of production are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate all activities associated with mine production, including EH&S, quality, compliance to regulations, and production metrics.
  • Lead local staff and contractors to achieve economic targets as planned.
  • Coordinate workplace inspections to identify potential hazards and correct substandard conditions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize performance, reliability, and cost.
  • Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Mining Authorities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Mine Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • A minimum of 10 years progressive experience in mining, with at least 5 years in supervision.
  • Working experience on Longwall, Continuous Miner, Belts, and Outby, as well as familiarity with current mining equipment and standards.
