A Brief Overview:
You will be part of a team of 28 partners in the multispecialty General Surgery Division, specifically with 9 surgeons dedicated to acute care/trauma services. The division is also comprised of fellowship-trained surgeons in colorectal, minimally invasive, bariatric, and hepatobiliary subspecialties.
Responsibilities:
- Level 1 Trauma Center at Evanston Hospital
- Level II Trauma coverage at Highland Park Hospital and Glenbrook Hospital
- ICU coverage for our surgical patients at Evanston Hospital and Skokie Hospital
- Emergency general surgery at Evanston Hospital, Highland Park Hospital, and Glenbrook Hospital
- Works with University of Chicago Residents at Evanston and 24-hour Physician Assistant coverage at all hospitals
- Teaching opportunities and an academic appointment are available for interested and qualified candidates
- Research opportunities are available for interested and qualified candidates
Requirements:
- MD/DO
- IL Medical license or pending approval
