About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for manually moving freight, stock, or other materials. You will work closely with material moving machine operators and material recording clerks to ensure efficient and accurate movement of materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manually move material from one place to another
  • Pack or wrap products by hand
  • Keep a record of the material you move
  • Signal machine operators to help move material
  • Repackage product boxes
  • Replace UPC labels on unit boxes

Work Environment

As a Warehouse Associate, you will be working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will be required to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds, and your work will be repetitive and physically demanding. You will be expected to bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl in awkward positions.

Work Schedule

Most Warehouse Associates work full-time shifts. Shifts longer than 8 hours are not common, except during peak holiday seasons. Overtime may be available.

Important Qualities

  • Hand–eye coordination. You will use your arms and hands to manipulate objects or move objects into specific positions.
  • Listening skills. You will follow instructions from supervisors.
  • Physical stamina. You will need the endurance to perform routine tasks throughout the day.
  • Physical strength. You will need to be able to lift and carry heavy objects (50 pounds).

Compensation

EveryMarket offers competitive compensation packages, including a starting wage of $17.00 per hour. We also offer opportunities for overtime and career advancement.
