Position Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics and Production Coordination Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Teams. This role involves managing production schedules, overseeing inventory, and ensuring timely product delivery. The position reports directly to the Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating and maintaining production schedules to guarantee timely product delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure sufficient material supply for production processes.
- Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and shipping teams to optimize workflow and address any production challenges.
- Keep accurate records of production activities, inventory status, and logistics data.
- Facilitate effective communication among team members, supervisors, and other departments to support efficient production operations.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for data tracking, spreadsheet management, and report generation.
- Engage in team meetings and collaboration via Microsoft Teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing production efficiency and reducing operational costs.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing setting, especially in production control or logistics.
- Familiarity with inventory management software or ERP systems is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Basic understanding of production control and logistics principles.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
