As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising teller personnel, maintaining security, and assisting in reaching branch goals.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and direct teller operations, including training and scheduling of teller personnel.
- Ensure daily consolidation of teller sheets and resolve any issues related to the teller area.
- Maintain the security of the teller area, negotiable items, and vault contents.
- Approve transactions on selected deposit accounts and verify signatures and endorsements.
- Process return items, items sent for collection, and handle uncollected and overdrafts.
- Perform all teller activities outlined for the Universal Banker position and assist in new accounts area when necessary.
- Handle adjustments to accounts and certificates, and process business account transactions and night drops.
- 2-4 years of teller, platform, and supervisory experience.
- High school diploma or higher.
- Strong knowledge of banking products and sound judgment in decision making.
- Precise figure aptitude and strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong PC skills and knowledge of MS Office.
- Ability to work with manager to increase customer advocacy effectiveness.
- Ability to supervise/lead Teller line and coach and mentor as needed.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work weekends as needed.
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
- Independent and highly motivated self-starter.
- Results-oriented with proven track record to motivate self and others.
- Dedicated, enthusiastic, and driven with a strong work ethic.
- A collaborator and team player with strong relationships.
- Ability to deliver a seamless experience to the customer.
