Objective
The primary goal is to provide exceptional service to both residential and commercial clients, ensuring safety and professionalism in all interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and repair a variety of gas appliances, including fireplaces, tankless and tank water heaters, generators, pool heaters, grills, water conditioning systems, and outdoor living equipment.
- Maintain and operate shop tools and equipment, ensuring quality workmanship is delivered efficiently.
- Diagnose issues and perform repairs on propane and natural gas appliances.
- Conduct safety and regulatory inspections as necessary.
- Install propane gas piping systems, tanks, cylinders, and appliances as required.
- Keep accurate records of all work performed and materials utilized.
- Uphold safe working practices and maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
- Communicate any additional repair needs to the appliance manager or customer.
- Stay updated with product bulletins and technical changes in the industry.
- Treat customers and colleagues with respect and professionalism.
Work Schedule
- Standard hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Participation in an on-call rotation is required, with availability during after-hours and weekends.
Qualifications
- A valid driver's license in good standing is mandatory.
- Compliance with drug testing policies is required.
- A minimum of three years of experience in a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating various power tools is essential.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in diverse weather conditions.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this position, employees are regularly required to sit, stand, and walk; use hands for handling and feeling; reach with hands and arms; and communicate effectively. The role may require lifting and moving items up to 50 pounds, with specific vision abilities necessary for close work and depth perception.
