Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and troubleshoot network systems, ensuring optimal configurations and resolving any network-related issues.
  • Establish and assess network performance metrics and evaluation techniques.
  • Conduct capacity analysis for network infrastructure needs.
  • Identify and define requirements that correspond with the organization’s strategic objectives.
  • Recommend and implement enhancements to systems (both software and hardware) to boost performance and reliability.
  • Offer advanced support for the End User Services team.
  • Act as a primary escalation contact for the M365 platform.
  • Create and develop tools and systems aimed at automating processes or refining existing workflows.
  • Collaborate with the Divisional Shared Services team to ensure solutions are tailored to meet divisional requirements.
  • Oversee daily operations of Infrastructure services, including VMware Hosts, Virtual Machines, SAN, and associated hardware.
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain AIX systems while ensuring optimal system performance and availability.
  • Monitor AIX systems, diagnose issues, and perform necessary maintenance to prevent future occurrences.
  • Conduct testing and documentation of systems prior to their deployment.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 6 years of experience in supporting distributed Infrastructure across multiple locations.
  • Preferred certifications include CCNP, JNCIP, or similar.
  • Mandatory certifications include CCNA, JNCIS, or equivalent.
  • VMware or Microsoft certifications are advantageous.
  • Experience working with global teams that provide 24/7 operational support is preferred.
  • Background in manufacturing and warehouse infrastructure is a plus.

Essential Skills

  • Proficient in enterprise networking technologies such as MPLS, IPSec VPN, DMVPN, and SD-WAN.
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco products and technologies is desirable.
  • Familiarity with LAN and WAN technologies.
  • Understanding of wireless technologies (WLC, WAP) and Internet of Things (IoT).
  • Knowledge of IPv6, multicast, QoS, and IP fast rerouting.
  • Experience with the M365 platform.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others to foster innovation and enhance work processes.
  • Experience with Windows PowerShell is a plus.
  • Ability to monitor and manage servers to ensure 24/7/365 uptime.
  • Experience in hardware and software inventory management.
  • Familiarity with VMware (VxRail) and Windows Server (All Versions).
  • Experience with SAN (Dell EMC PowerStore is a plus).
  • Proficient in AIX versions 7.1, 7.2, and 7.3 system administration.
  • Ability to monitor AIX performance and generate reports (NMON, topas).
  • Knowledge of LDAP and SSL (including certificates and their applications).
  • Experience with server virtualization (LPARs, WPARs, VIO, etc.).

Work Environment

  • Hybrid work model.
  • Normal working conditions for an office or distribution center.
  • Willingness to conduct meetings outside of standard working hours to accommodate international teams as necessary.
  • Participation in after-hours on-call duties may be required.
  • Travel of up to 25% may be necessary for support activities.
