Job Summary

The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Associate, Shareholder Services Representative I to join our Client Services Team. This role is located in a hybrid environment and requires strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with processing financial transactions, providing account information, and responding to client inquiries daily of varying complexity.
  • Provide advanced technical assistance for shareholders' online accounts.
  • Review shareholder accounts for errors, general issues, and escalate matters through appropriate channels when issues cannot be resolved at the initial point of contact.
  • Track the progress of escalated matters to ensure proper follow-up and closure.
  • Provide guidance to junior members of the staff.

Requirements

  • High school or secondary school degree required.
  • BA/BS degree or a minimum of two years of customer service experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with navigation/use of multiple computer applications simultaneously needed.
  • SIE, Series 7, and FINRA licenses are required.
