A well-established home builder is seeking a skilled Estimator Associate to join their team

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to work with a reputable company in the residential construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop accurate and comprehensive job estimates to ensure project feasibility and profitability.
  • Obtain bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials, identifying qualified subcontractors, and negotiating prices.
  • Maintain cost keys and price masters by updating information to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Resolve cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information to ensure project budget adherence.
  • Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends to inform business decisions.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks and projects as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • At least 3+ years of experience in estimating within the residential construction industry.
  • College degree preferred, but not required.
  • Proficiency in various estimating software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate estimate development.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks to ensure project delivery.
