Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Email team, where you will be building mission-critical email systems and features. As a key member of our team, you will own new features throughout the product life cycle, leveraging cloud-native architectures and leading-edge technologies to maintain and build value to the user experience.

Responsibilities
  • Design and build React applications, reusable components, and browser extensions.
  • Proficient in TypeScript and appreciate the benefits provided by it.
  • Familiarity with.NET Core is a plus.
  • Closely collaborate and pair with team members.
  • Stay on the leading edge of frontend development to keep Seismic's products the most innovative in the industry.
  • Participate in Seismic's larger frontend community to help drive innovation throughout the company.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience with knowledge and passion about frontend development, especially React.
  • Understand that ownership extends far beyond the frontend and are excited about optimizing throughout the stack.
  • Become an expert for the team and help drive technical decisions and provide feedback on proposals.
  • Care deeply about reusability and build every component with an eye towards how someone else will use it.
  • Focused on quality with experience in frontend unit testing.
  • Experienced with agile and enjoy experimenting with process to get stuff done faster and more efficiently.
  • Interested in exploring different areas of software engineering and technology; there's lots of room to grow at Seismic.
