Role ResponsibilitiesThe Surgical Technologist will be responsible for delivering expert technical support to pediatric patients in the operating room, ensuring their needs are met with precision and care. This role encompasses various duties, including:
- Assisting in the capacity of Scrub Nurse or First Assistant to the Surgeon.
- Collaborating closely with the surgical team to maintain a sterile environment.
- Utilizing surgical instruments and equipment effectively under the guidance of a Registered Nurse or Physician.
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technology Program.
- Certification from NBSTSA or NCCT prior to employment commencement.
- Current BLS certification recognized by AHA.
