Job Title: Producer II, Pokémon Go

We are seeking an experienced Producer II to join our team at Niantic, the creators of Pokémon Go. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for leading the development of new features and content for Pokémon Go, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the game meets the highest standards of quality and player engagement.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, artists, and product managers to develop and launch new features and content for Pokémon Go.
  • Collaborate with the game development team to design and implement new features, ensuring they meet the game's quality and player engagement standards.
  • Work closely with the production team to plan and execute the game's development roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of new features and content.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders, including brand partners and community leaders.
  • Contribute to the development of the game's overall strategy and vision, working closely with the game development team and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in game development, with a focus on mobile games and AR/VR experiences.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering high-quality game features and content.
  • Strong understanding of game development principles, including game design, programming, and testing.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Passion for Pokémon Go and a deep understanding of the game's mechanics and community.
