CPU Design Verification Expert

**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled CPU Design Verification Engineer to join our team at Apple. This is a highly visible role where you will be at the center of a chip design effort, collaborating with all disciplines, and having a critical impact on getting functional products to millions of customers quickly.
**Job Description**
In this role, you will own the verification of a certain area of functionality in a CPU design. Your responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with architecture and RTL designers on verifying the functional correctness of the design
- Developing test plans and test environments
- Developing tests in assembly, C, or vectors according to test plans
- Developing coverage monitors and analyzing coverage to ensure all the test cases in the plans are covered
- Developing checkers and SystemVerilog or C-base transactors to verify the design
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant industry experience
- Programming knowledge in C/C++ or SystemVerilog
- Bachelor of Science or Engineering in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
- Academic and industry knowledge of CPU architecture, digital logic design, chip architecture, and microarchitecture
- Experience with developing testplans/testbenches, C-based transactors, and writing/debugging tests
- Operating system knowledge
- Experience in post-silicon bringup
- Experience with advanced verification techniques such as formal
