Job Title: ABA Therapist

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate ABA Therapist to join our team at Apex K Home Care Inc. in the Worcester Metro Area.

Job Summary:

The ABA Therapist will work under the supervision of a BCBA to provide one-to-one ABA services to individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis and be able to implement individualized behavior support plans, skill acquisition programs, and work with families for effective collaboration on client goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Data collection using a company-provided electronic device
  • Implementing individualized behavior support plans
  • Implementing skill acquisition programs
  • Working with families for effective collaboration on client goals
  • Submitting all required documentation promptly
  • Attending monthly case review meetings with their direct supervisor
Requirements:
  • High school or equivalent (GED)
  • Drivers License
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Working with kids or teens: minimum 6 months
  • Applicants should enjoy working with children, especially one-to-one
  • Reliable, private transportation as some clients require transport to locations for 1:1 services
  • Knowledge of and experience with Applied Behavior Analysis is preferred
  • Friendly, energetic, and enjoy working with individuals diagnosed with disabilities
  • Experience working with children diagnosed with developmental disabilities (preferably Autism) is preferred
  • Ability to attend training with individual scheduling
  • Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week (after-school hours are usually between 2-8 p.m.)
  • Must be timely and organized
  • Ability to work independently and within small group settings
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively within a variety of situations

Work Schedule:

Consistent but flexible scheduling for all ABA Techs or Behavior Therapists. Sessions are usually on weekdays during after-school hours but the exact timing is flexible and based on client assignments. Weekend shifts may also be available but are not required.

Ability to work a minimum of 10-15 hours/at least 3 days per week (weekdays are after school hours between 3-8 p.m. and daytime hours on Saturdays)
