KINGSWAY ARMS NURSING CENTER INC is seeking a dedicated professional for the role of Senior Accountant. This position involves a comprehensive range of financial and accounting responsibilities, primarily centered around overseeing payroll operations for our healthcare facility.
In this capacity, you will manage all facets of payroll administration, conduct account reconciliations, prepare management reports, and offer additional accounting assistance as required. This role presents an excellent opportunity to become a vital part of our Finance Team, which plays a crucial role in our commitment to quality service for our residents and professional integrity for our staff.
Key Responsibilities:
· Ensure accurate and timely processing of timecards and payroll, including preparation of necessary statutory reports.
· Conduct detailed account reconciliations and analyses, including bi-weekly labor management reporting.
· Assist in the development of budgets and the creation of ad-hoc reports for multiple legal entities.
· Act as an internal expert for training personnel on Timekeeping and HRIS software applications.
· Foster effective working relationships with leadership while upholding our culture of service excellence.
· Record cash transactions for designated entities and transaction types as assigned.
· Provide support to other Finance team members through cross-training on various responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
· Proven ability to navigate challenging, sensitive, and confidential situations.
· Familiarity with GAAP and standard audit procedures.
· Proficient in Excel and other MS Office applications; experience with relevant ERP/GL software is advantageous.
· Strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
· Capacity to meet multiple deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and professionalism.
Education and Experience:
· An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree is required.
· A minimum of 3 years of experience in finance or accounting; experience in healthcare is a plus.
· A combination of education and experience may be considered at the discretion of KINGSWAY ARMS NURSING CENTER INC.
Compensation: Yearly Salary
