Physical Therapist PRN Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist (PRN) to join our team of patient-focused outpatient rehabilitation professionals at our brand new Willow Oaks location.

About the Role

The selected candidate will serve our pelvic floor patient population, utilizing a 1:1 patient treatment model, formal mentorship program, and commitment to continuing education and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select evaluations and treatment methods appropriate for the patient's diagnosis, age group, and physical/emotional status.
  • Formulate and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Document the results of evaluations clearly and completely, including all essential elements according to department policy.
  • Complete daily progress notes and discharge notes that include a summary of the course of treatment, progress toward goals, discharge needs, and recommendations for follow-up.
  • Document evidence of patient and family/caregiver education.
  • Contact families, physicians, or other healthcare team members in anticipation of special needs of the patients or families in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • While one year experience in a Physical Therapy setting is desired, we will accept entry-level physical therapists.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy; master's degree preferred.
  • Virginia Physical Therapist license in good standing.
  • BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association upon start.
