About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Practice Specialist to join our team at Ascension Saint Thomas. As a key member of our healthcare organization, you will play a vital role in driving nursing quality indicators and evidence-based practice guidelines to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with clinical leaders to serve as a resource and support caregivers in improving outcomes.
  • Collaborate with clinical leaders and professional development teams to identify gaps and develop plans to improve professional growth, skills, and competencies.
  • Support clinical leaders in aggregating and interpreting quality and patient safety data to drive improved care outcomes and nursing practice.
  • Guide the implementation of Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) projects, including the revision of order sets and practice guidelines at the unit or division level.
  • Conduct unit rounds with a focus on coaching and mentoring in partnership with clinical leadership.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
  • 2 years applicable experience required; 5 years preferred.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
