IT Support Specialist

CareSouth Carolina is seeking a highly skilled IT Technician to join our team. As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer hardware, software, and network systems.
Key Responsibilities- Install and configure operating systems and software using standard business packages
- Install, assemble, and configure computers, monitors, network infrastructure, and peripherals
- Troubleshoot problems with computer systems, including hardware and software, email, network, and peripheral equipment
- Act as a technical resource to assist users in resolving problems with equipment and data
- Staff a centralized help desk to facilitate exchange of information and advice
- Implement solutions or notify outsource providers as required
- Make hardware and software acquisition recommendations
- Assist in instructing staff in the use of standard business and administrative software
- Provide instruction or written documentation as required
- Assist with the planning, design, research, and acquisition of new or upgraded hardware and software systems
- Two-year degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- One to three years of experience in the field or a related field
- Equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential duties of the job
