Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant - Skilled Care Professional

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to provide high-quality care to our residents in a skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities:

* Provide individualized attention to residents, encouraging their ability to maintain or attain the highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

* Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.

* Attend to individual needs of residents, including incontinent care, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, communication, and other needs.

* Maintain skin integrity by changing incontinent residents, turning, repositioning immobile residents, and applying moisturizers to fragile skin and other areas.

* Perform various tasks assigned by the floor nurse, including checking vital signs, weighing residents, applying creams/ointments, and collecting specimens.

* Document care provided and other information in medical records, maintaining strict confidentiality.

* Ensure established infection control and standard precaution practices are maintained when providing care.

Requirements:

* Certified/registered as a nursing assistant in the state of Wisconsin

* Experienced in long-term care

* Able to communicate well in both verbal and written forms

* Committed to interacting professionally and with care toward residents, families, and other staff
