Job Overview

Are you enthusiastic about establishing partnerships with retailers? This position enables you to oversee your own accounts by concentrating on selling products and promotions while demonstrating your merchandising expertise. Become the Coca-Cola subject matter expert for retailers by managing all sales, merchandising, and inventory requirements.

You will have the opportunity to:
  • Implement commercial strategies for your customers on daily, pre-set routes.

  • Stock, merchandise, and rotate all beverage sections and displays in your stores.
  • Oversee all ordering responsibilities of the position. Maintain appropriate inventory levels, minimize shrinkage, and organize storage areas for inventory.
  • Construct all displays sold locally or through other agreements.
  • Guide and provide direction to merchandisers and specialists supporting your territory during your days off.
*** Mileage Reimbursement is provided for travel between stores.

The Bulk Account Merchandiser Specialist is tasked with selling, ordering, and presenting products. The BAM Specialist role focuses on selling new products and promotions, collaborating with customers to generate accurate product orders, ensuring commercial strategies are executed across their account base, and merchandising products and packages while adhering to safe handling techniques and quality guidelines.
Duties & Responsibilities

Routes will service Leland, NC and surrounding areas.

Schedule: 5 consecutive days a week including weekends; shift: 5am - completion of the route.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Fills, merchandises, and rotates products on display and shelves according to procedures and special programs. Provides vacation coverage to the Bulk Account Merchandiser and POD Merchandiser.
  • Manages, sells, and executes in an assigned group of customers on daily, pre-set routes and generates sales orders based on the assigned delivery frequency for each customer to ensure the day-to-day success of the operation and directly contribute to the financial performance of the company in terms of revenue, volume, and gross profit.
  • Implements applicable promotions and new products based on target lists, monthly Look of Success (LOS) initiatives, marketing promotions, Point-Of-Sale, and commercial strategies to ensure excellence in RED (Right Execution Daily) scores for assigned customers.
  • Organizes and maintains back room by stacking and arranging product by package and flavor, arranging the return of empty pallets and shells, damaged and out-of-date products to the branch.
  • Creates and distributes point-of-sale materials on display and shelves where permitted. Rotates product. Fills and merchandises Fastlane merchandisers and vendors; checks vendor to ensure proper operation.
  • Fosters business relationships with store personnel through routine follow-up on requests, proactive pricing, special programs, new opportunities, and discussions on upcoming activities.
  • Identifies and communicates any competitive issues or market activities that could impact the business (i.e., pricing, new packaging, change in business strategy, etc.) and executes all job duties in a safe working manner.
  • May serve as the first point of contact for late PM/early AM weekends ensuring proper route coverage, acting as a liaison between the customer, merchandiser, and driver for order refusals, and inventory overload.
