Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Fund Accountant to generate accurate and timely client deliverables related to the NAV process, including financial statements, investor statements, capital call notices, distribution notices, and other ad-hoc reporting as required. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of GAAP and will be able to interact directly with clients on weekly/monthly calls and ad-hoc as required.
The Fund Accountant will work closely with members of the Financial Control, Implementation, and Technology teams to streamline production and enhance policies and procedures. This role requires strong internal and external communications on status, issues, and expectations, as well as the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
Your ProfileWe are seeking a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in accounting (or related field) and 0-3 years of professional experience. The ideal candidate will have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated analytical capabilities, and strong attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, and a CPA or intention to obtain CPA is preferred.
