Job Description

Saratech is seeking an Engineering Intern to support our internal customers in a growing organization. This part-time leading to full-time position is located at our corporate headquarters in Mission Viejo, CA.

About the Opportunity:

This role is designed to provide a college student with valuable professional experience. You will assist the Engineering Services/Design/Analysis team with various support duties such as CAD modeling, part model check reviews, industry standard parts specifications, stress analysis, FEA, and project planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring assigned engineering projects.
  • Ensuring projects are completed according to project plans.
  • Identifying engineering problems and implementing solutions.
  • Working with the Project design lead to ensure good decisions for Saratech and projects.
  • Assisting the lead in completing projects.
  • Providing real-time customer feedback information.
  • Translating client requirements into practical terms for the team.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Prioritizing and organizing project tasks into the required timeline.
  • Ensuring the project meets its deadlines at each stage.
  • Reviewing product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and customer contract requirements.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of customer relationship management tools (a plus).
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
