We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Vessel Maintenance and Repair Supervisor to join our team at Weeks Marine.

Earn up to $130,000 per year based on experience.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising all assigned maintenance personnel and ensuring that all maintenance and repairs are completed correctly and safely.

The candidate will also be responsible for establishing and implementing preventative and routine maintenance procedures, and acting as a technical advisor to ensure that maintenance and repairs are completed correctly and safely.

The candidate must have a strong working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, air systems, crane controls, friction and hydraulic hoists, AC/DC generators and electric motors, and be able to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.

The candidate must also be able to work flexible schedule with additional hours as needed, and be able to travel as needed.

This position requires fluent use of the verbal and written English language and an understanding of crane hand signals.

Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5 + years of experience in heavy construction equipment field
  • 3 + years of experience with cranes
  • 3 + years of supervisory experience
  • Working knowledge of the following is preferred:
  • Diesel engines
  • Hydraulic systems
  • Air systems
  • Crane controls
  • Friction and hydraulic hoists
  • AC/DC generators and electric motors
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics
  • Proficient skills in standard office software packages
  • Ability to work flexible schedule with additional hours as needed
  • Ability to travel as needed
