Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Design Verification Engineer to join our team at TSMC. As a key member of our Advanced Chip Implementation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our semiconductor designs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Design Rule Check (DRC), Layout vs. Schematic (LVS), and Electrical Rule Check (ERC) analysis and clean up
  • Conduct floorplan analysis and congestion solution
  • Investigate and fix power IR/EM and signal EM/noise issues
  • Implement timing ECOs and customize clock tree structures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design verification sign-off
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • Strong knowledge of hardware design courses, including VLSI design, digital integrated circuits, and design for testing
  • Experience with EDA tools and design flows, as well as programming skills in Perl and TCL
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • TSMC N16 and below technology experience
  • Chip-level integration and wire editing skills
  • Low-power implementation methodology expertise
