This role is integral to the Global Specialty IT sector, focusing on supporting scrum teams involved in essential system integration and the development of innovative digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and support multiple Scrum Teams across various functions, promoting Agile principles and practices.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to prioritize backlog items according to business value and ensure they are ready for the team.
- Encourage team creativity and enhance the efficiency of the development process.
- Oversee release readiness activities and manage associated tasks, including support during deployment phases.
- Guide teams towards greater independence, emphasizing continuous improvement.
- Analyze performance data to identify opportunities for team growth.
- Utilize Agile tools to present data and insights effectively.
- Identify risks proactively and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure timely communication of risks and issues to relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor workflow (User Stories) and coordinate with the team to optimize work intake and delivery flow.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in digital technology or project management.
- Certification as a Scrum Master (CSM) is required.
- Experience in the insurance sector, particularly in P&C and digital initiatives, is preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and frameworks, including Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Scrum, and Kanban.
- Proficient in Agile lifecycle management tools, such as Rally.
- Strong understanding of Agile techniques: User Stories, Continuous Integration, Test Driven Development, Automated Testing, Burndown metrics, and velocity.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams is advantageous.
- Exceptional collaboration and influencing abilities.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-driven individuals capable of managing multiple high-priority tasks and expectations.
- Able to navigate complex and large-scale projects within Agile teams.
