A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOUSEKEEPING ATTENDANT

  • As a Housekeeping Attendant, you play a vital role in ensuring positive experiences for our clients' guests. Arriving for your shift, you are energized and prepared to tackle your responsibilities. With pride in your uniform and equipped with the best training, tools, and supplies, you work efficiently and with minimal physical strain. Our team members are known for delivering friendly and engaging service, consistently exceeding guest and client expectations.
  • Responsible for reporting any room discrepancies and maintenance issues to the supervisor.
  • Replace room amenities, literature, and other items as directed by the supervisor and in accordance with brand standards.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A HOUSEKEEPING ATTENDANT

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Ability to occasionally lift items weighing up to 50 lbs. and perform general cleaning tasks, including bending, kneeling, reaching, and standing for an entire shift.
  • Strong customer service skills.

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or hospitality is advantageous. Are you quick, efficient, self-driven, and eager to excel? Do you possess a positive, can-do attitude? Are you someone who enjoys being active and on your feet? Are you honest and respectful of others' privacy and property? If so, you may be an ideal candidate for this Housekeeping Attendant position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Respond promptly to customer needs and requests for assistance. Address special requests from guests.
  • Safety and Security: Adhere to safety and security protocols; report potentially unsafe conditions; utilize chemicals and equipment correctly. Wear gloves while cleaning guest rooms. Responsible for any assigned keys and compliance with key control policies.
  • Dependability: Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality. Arrive on time for scheduled meetings and appointments. Be prepared to meet the demands of the industry, including working on holidays and weekends.

Education & Experience:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Six months of prior housekeeping experience is a plus.
