Automotive Service Technician with Sign-On Incentive

Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute tasks outlined in the repair order efficiently and in line with dealership standards.
2. Conduct test drives and assess vehicle components and systems utilizing diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment.
3. Diagnose, maintain, and repair various automotive systems, including but not limited to engine, transmission, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
4. Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about any additional services required, providing estimates for extra repairs.
5. Perform warranty repairs adhering to GM specifications.
6. Complete and maintain all required GM training programs.
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive service.
- At least 3 ASE certifications are required.
- Previous GM experience is advantageous.
- Proficient in reading and understanding written instructions and information.
- Comprehensive knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
- Quick learner with strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service abilities and a team-oriented mindset.
- Valid and clean driver's license.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to quickly identify and troubleshoot issues.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems.
- Effective analytical and communication skills.
- Proficient reading, computer, and mathematical skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and service procedures.
- Capability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
