Job Summary
Eide Bailly is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our team. As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for supervising complex audits, completing audit workpapers, and achieving objectives in staff development, client needs, and engagement profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and delegate duties to Associate and Senior Associate level staff.
- Provide mentoring and technical training for staff in the audit department.
- Review workpapers and financial statements prior to Partner involvement.
- Manage client relationships with integrity by monitoring client needs and building value into professional service.
- Evaluate the costs, benefits, and risks of alternative solutions to client problems or needs.
- Participate in business development and community organizations.
- Ensure timely and accurate performance on assigned projects.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles.
- Critical and analytical thinking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills and effective presentation skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities with work projects.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and clients.
- Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), and calculators.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
- 5+ years audit experience in public accounting required.
- Valid Certified Public Accountant license required.
