Senior Financial Analyst - Barnwell, SC

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Planning Analyst to join our team in Barnwell, SC. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in supporting our executive team, controller, and general accounting manager. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping financial strategies, developing innovative tools, and driving impactful business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tool Development: Design and develop efficient and accurate financial reporting tools.
  • KPI Management: Define and update Key Performance Indicators to ensure relevant and accurate reporting.
  • Financial Dashboards: Create and maintain financial dashboards and monthly reports to provide insights into performance.
  • Forecasting: Prepare monthly financial forecasts, analyze sales and production data, and adjust expectations accordingly.
  • Annual Budgeting: Assist with the annual budgeting process and prepare Capital Expenditure Requests.
  • Data Mining: Serve as a local expert in data mining tools and train your finance team to leverage them effectively.
  • Market Trends: Stay current with market trends and customer data to inform our strategies.
  • SOPs: Collaborate on the creation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures for the finance team.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 4+ Years of Experience: In financial analysis, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong Business Acumen: Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
  • ERP Systems: Expertise in ERP systems, especially SAP, is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and experience with financial analysis tools like PowerBI, Business Warehouse, and Excel.
  • Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, or a related discipline.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills.
What We Offer

This role offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per year, based on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career advancement within the company.
