Job Title: Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Technologist to join our team at Children's Clinics For Rehabilitative Services.

Job Summary:

The Radiology Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment. This includes operating radiology equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body, producing X-ray studies to assist in the diagnosis of abnormal physical conditions, and positioning patients for general diagnostic imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process general diagnostic imaging using radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment
  • Check supplies and assure proper and safe functioning of equipment and accessories
  • Knowledge of CPT codes
  • Operate radiology equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body
  • Produce X-ray studies to assist in the diagnosis of abnormal physical conditions
  • Position patients, perform, and process general diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Prepare and maintain records and files as directed
  • Clean and adjust equipment
  • Operate PACs system, and act as a resource to physicians and other clinical staff to find needed studies
  • Perform other duties as required and assigned
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school required
  • Two or more years' experience required
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Arizona State License required
  • Registration in American Registry of Rad Techs (ARRT) required
  • BLS certification required
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records (NextGen) a plus
Working Conditions:

The Radiology Technologist will work in a fast-paced clinical environment, interacting with patients, physicians, and other clinical staff. The position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

The physical demands of this position include standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds, with occasional lifting of more than 100 pounds. The work environment is moderate, with occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles, risk of electrical shock, and risk of radiation.

BLOODBORNE PATHOGEN CATEGORY: 1

Category 1: Performs tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids or tissue. Use of appropriate protective measures should be required.
