Rogers Behavioral Health is a leading provider of behavioral health services, seeking a highly skilled Psychiatrist to join our team as a Team Leader. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading treatment teams, and contributing to the development of our clinical programs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Patient Care: Conduct psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide medication management and education to patients and their families.
- Lead Treatment Teams: Collaborate with nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Develop Clinical Programs: Contribute to the development and implementation of new clinical programs and services, including inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient services.
- Payor Relations: Develop and maintain positive working relationships with payors, review denials of service, and interface with referring parties to coordinate care.
- Advocate: Serve as an advocate for the organization, providing support, information, education, and services to patients and their families.
- Admissions Support: Provide initial placement recommendations, review and evaluate admission screenings, and communicate professionally and accurately with patients and their families.
- Be licensed in the state of California as an MD or DO with specialization in psychiatry.
- Board-eligible physician, board certification preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited college or university and medical school.
- Successful completion of a GME accredited residency and/or fellowship program, if working with children, additional residency with this age group must have been obtained.
- Experience working in a psychiatric hospital or clinic, preferred.
- Be registered with Medicare as a community provider, or able to be registered.
- Leadership and/or supervisory experience in a behavioral health organization is preferred.
- Experience with process improvement implementation preferred.
Compensation for this role is between $278,446 and $342,857, and placement in the range will vary based on years of experience and area of specialization. The position also includes an RVU bonus rate which ranges between $66 and $77 per RVU, again depending on area of specialization.
