Key Responsibilities
Under the guidance of the Chief Risk Officer (CRO), the Senior Risk Officer will:
1. Analyze portfolio structures and suggest optimal asset allocations and manager selections.
2. Assist in enhancing portfolio efficiency to align with the investment goals of the pension systems.
3. Identify and monitor managers that require additional scrutiny, offering insights to the investment teams.
4. Engage in research to develop innovative methodologies and contribute to the design of a comprehensive risk framework for the pension fund.
5. Evaluate investment risks through quantitative models and assess the impact of investment decisions on overall portfolio risk.
6. Investigate new investment strategies and communicate findings to stakeholders.
7. Aid in the establishment of an internal risk monitoring and reporting infrastructure.
8. Participate in due diligence processes for asset managers and contribute to strategic initiatives across various asset classes.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A graduate degree in business, finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field, along with a minimum of four years of relevant experience in financial services, particularly in asset management.
- Alternatively, a bachelor's degree with at least six years of professional experience in a similar capacity.

Preferred Skills
- Over ten years of demonstrated experience in Risk Management within a reputable financial institution.
- In-depth knowledge of at least one asset class, with a preference for multi-asset investment strategies.
- Strong grasp of risk management principles and investment methodologies.
- Familiarity with risk analysis tools such as MSCI's BarraOne or FactSet.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with VBA and Python is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
