Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Practice Manager to join our team at The Sound Cat Veterinary Hospital. As a Practice Manager, you will be responsible for managing all essential business functions in the veterinary practice, including revenue growth, expense management, and team development. You will work closely with the Managing Doctor (MDVM) to ensure successful practice operations, high client satisfaction, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive revenue growth through effective business strategies and operations
  • Manage expenses, including labor, facility costs, and supplies
  • Develop and maintain salary schedules and job evaluations for all employees
  • Provide input on the annual budget and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and laws
  • Establish and execute performance evaluations and internal operating procedures
  • Partner with the MDVM to ensure team members are adhering to practice operating procedures and regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous management experience in a veterinary practice or related field
  • Ability to work on weekends when needed
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Computer skills, including MS Office applications
