- Corrective and Preventative Actions: Investigate and initiate corrective and preventative actions internally and externally.
- AS9100 QMS Oversight: Oversee the AS9100 Quality Management System to ensure product standards are maintained.
- Collaboration: Work with visual inspection/test teams to ensure conformance to customer specifications and procedures.
- Data Analysis: Conduct data analysis for statistical process control and root cause analysis.
- Process Improvement: Identify and correct problems and inefficiencies in the department's processes, materials, equipment, or skills as required.
- Team Environment: Create an environment that promotes excellent performance and positive morale.
- Employee Management: Hire, discipline, and terminate employees as required and per company policy.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in quality, engineering, or related fields.
- Professional Experience: 4+ years' experience in quality, engineering, or related manufacturing fields.
- Supervisory Experience: Previous experience with management/supervision of others.
- Employee Development: Ability to develop, coach, and motivate employees based on their strengths and discretion.
- Skills and Abilities: Problem-solving, self-motivation, attention to detail, communication skills, ISO-9000 and AS9100 knowledge, certifications, SPC methodology, blueprints and specifications, process design and management, and MS Office proficiency.
