The Cleaning and Maintenance Specialist is tasked with performing cleaning duties and light maintenance as directed by the Cleaning & Maintenance Manager. Candidates should be focused on both customer service and task completion, self-driven, reliable, and capable of working efficiently and safely in a dynamic environment while ensuring a clean, welcoming, and well-stocked space.

Key Responsibilities:
  • $18 / hour
  • Perform manual cleaning and operate light commercial cleaning machinery
  • Follow the store's cleaning matrix for all cleaning tasks
  • Conduct light maintenance on all store equipment
  • Adhere to safety and security protocols
  • Report any unsafe conditions to the General Manager
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Position Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • The Cleaning and Maintenance Specialist typically works an 8-hour shift, with a maximum of 40 hours per week. Availability for mornings, evenings, and overnight shifts is required, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours on hard and uneven surfaces
  • Repetitive motions involving hands, wrists, elbows, and shoulders
  • Capability to operate all necessary equipment for store operations
  • Good vision and depth perception are essential
  • Ability to bend, carry, climb, push, pull, stoop, squat, twist, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Climb ladders and work at heights
  • Use of cleaning chemicals for facility maintenance is required
  • Ability to work independently at a fast pace for extended shifts of 10 hours or more
  • Periodic exposure to outdoor conditions at all times of the day and year
