Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated housekeeper to uphold the high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction at Best Western Shelby Inn & Suites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness of shared areas including hallways, public restrooms, and the hotel lobby.
  • Execute cleaning tasks and prepare guest rooms to meet our establishment's standards prior to guest arrivals.
  • Respond to general inquiries from guests with professionalism.
  • Keep a record of cleaned rooms, and report any lost items or necessary repairs.
  • Perform tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, making beds, dusting, polishing furniture, stocking rooms with toiletries, and handling laundry as required.

Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of cleaning methods and products.
  • High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
  • Exemplary work ethic complemented by strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a professional housekeeper is highly preferred.
