The Import Planner role at QUIETFLEX MANUFACTURING CO LP is a key position that requires a high level of organizational and analytical skills. As a Global Import Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the import operations of HVAC equipment, ensuring that all necessary documents and records are maintained accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supply Chain Management: Manage the import process, including surface and air shipments, incoterms, and lead times from international locations.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain availability of import products by reviewing stock policy, sales, and purchase plan constantly.
  • Reporting and Data Analysis: Create and submit data for recurring reports, attend product meetings, and analyze results to publish reports.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with manufacturers in a Global Supply Chain network and other departments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field is preferred.
  • At least 2-3 years of international experience in a supply chain, logistics, or purchasing role with exposure to an extensive portfolio of imported products from multiple international locations.
  • Strong understanding of import processes, Supply Chain management, and Microsoft Office applications with advanced Excel skill.
