Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines
  • Support the maintenance of a safe and clean working environment
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide patient-specific education and support
  • Conduct routine patient assessments and monitor vital signs
  • Prepare and administer medications as directed by the healthcare team
  • Assist with patient transportation and mobility as needed
  • Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid PCT national certification or state-specific certification as defined by Center for Medicaid/Medicare Services (CMS)
  • At least two years of previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred
  • Successful completion of the organization's dialysis training program and CPR certification required
