About the Role

This is a critical position that plays a vital role in the success of our retail stores. As a Store Associate, you will work closely with wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, provide expert advice on Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend solutions that meet their requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring high levels of satisfaction through prompt issue resolution and effective communication.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Assist customers in person and over the phone, determining their needs and presenting relevant products and services.
  • Relationship Building: Build trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers, understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Inventory Management: Process sales transactions accurately, maintain precise work order files, and ensure inventory levels are adequate.
  • Sales Performance: Meet and exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis, suggesting ways to improve sales and increase revenue.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including stocking shelves, setting up displays, and cleaning equipment.
  • Delivery and Logistics: Assist with deliveries, load/unload trucks, and ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
  • Previous experience selling paint and paint-related products.
  • Previous experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language.
