Job Title: Grocery Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Grocery Sales Associate to join our team at Smart Foodservice Stores LLC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and achieving sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide fast, easy, and efficient service to customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, front end, and restrooms.
  • Assist customers with finding products, answering questions, and resolving issues.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and returns.
  • Restock shelves, maintain inventory levels, and ensure products are properly labeled and displayed.
  • Participate in inventory and cycle count processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist with price changes, promotions, and other sales initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 6-12 months retail cashier and/or stocking experience required.
  • Minimum one year retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible hourly schedule, including holidays and weekends.
  • Basic computer skills, cash handling experience, and proficiency utilizing general office equipment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
