Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Phlebotomist to join our team at CSL Plasma. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for performing pheresis procedures and plasma collection, ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform pheresis procedures and plasma collection in compliance with SOPs and FDA guidelines.
  • Evaluate vein performance and make necessary corrections to expedite donation time and ensure product quality and donor safety.
  • Ensure donation process is efficient and make adjustments as needed to provide a positive experience for donors.
  • May educate new donors on the use of therapeutic products made from donated plasma.
  • Monitor donor flow and alert Group Leader or Supervisor of any issues.
  • Collect arm samples or whole blood samples from donors for testing.
  • Ensure accurate recording of donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum eighteen (18) months experience in a medical or health care environment preferred.
  • Specialized medical or phlebotomy training preferred.
Working Conditions

The Phlebotomist will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment while performing specific tasks or in certain areas.
