We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Monarch Communities. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for conducting resident assessments, providing direct nursing care, and supervising the day-to-day nursing activities performed by our LPN care staff.
Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough resident assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications and treatments
- Supervise LPN care staff and ensure compliance with state regulations and community policies
- Monitor the health, safety, and well-being of all residents
- Assist in training and monitoring of medication administration
- Maintain clinical quality assurance in accordance with federal, state, and local standards
- Promote the highest degree of service to our residents while leading and demonstrating the mission of the company
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, with current RN license
- At least 2 years' experience with long-term care, assisted living, home health, or hospital setting preferred
- Experience working with residents with Alzheimer's or other related dementias
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations, and of nursing practices, techniques, and methods applied to health and wellness residents
- Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new applications
