Job Summary

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Hardin Medical Center, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to our residents. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and make a real difference in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide routine technical nursing duties and assist with other related duties involved in providing patient care to residents.
  • Explain programs offered by the Nursing Home to individuals.
  • Work under the administrative supervision of a licensed physician and/or registered nurse.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
  • Must have one (1) year LPN experience in a hospital or nursing home environment preferred.
  • Current Tennessee State Licensed Practical Nurse with no restrictions.
  • Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Physical Demands

Prolonged periods of standing and walking. Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds during a scheduled work shift.

Must be able to see with corrective eye wear. Must be able to hear clearly with assistance. May be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases. Able to handle emergency and/or crisis situations. May be required to wear protective equipment as necessary.
