Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinic LPN/CMA to join our team at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct Patient Care
    • Conduct thorough patient assessments and provide vital education to patients and their families.
    • Assist physicians with procedures and treatments as needed.
    • Prepare and administer medications or vaccines according to standard procedure and as ordered by the physician or standing order.
    • Operate medical equipment, including EKG, tympanometer, suction, oxygen, spirometer, audiometer, nebulizer, wheelchair, and exam tables.
  • Indirect Patient Care
    • Document patient information, including vitals, treatments, interventions, medications, and essential notes in the patient's medical record.
    • Stock supplies in patient exam rooms and common storage areas.
    • Assist with scheduling tests, x-rays, consults, surgeries, hospital admission, or other appointments as ordered by the physician.
    • Facilitate communication between patients, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: One year of clinical nursing experience (for coordinator or specialist roles).
  • License/Certificates: Current LPN license for State of Minnesota or current CMA certification with the American Association of Medical Assistants.
  • Special Skills and Aptitudes: Effective listening, observational, reporting, documentation, and communication skills; self-direction with good organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment

This part-time position is located at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center · Urology and requires an 8-hour day shift schedule.
