Job Title: State Director - Oregon

Comagine Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced State Director to lead our efforts in Oregon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out the long-range objectives and strategies of the organization in accordance with its bylaws, policies, and directives consistent with the Mission, Vision, and Values of Comagine Health at the state or regional level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and management to ensure that the mission, vision, values, and organizational goals are operationalized within specified state and regionally.
  • Ensure connections and coordination among state and organizational priorities at operational, management, and board levels.
  • Serve as executive staff to the Comagine Community Board, including facilitation and execution of leadership meetings, overall development, and ensuring appropriate policies and procedures consistent with community board roles and responsibilities.
  • Work with regional PFAC leadership to optimize local PFAC activities.
  • Coordinate with facilities team to ensure privacy and security and vendor management.
  • Build and sustain an organizational culture that emphasizes focus on outcomes and strong local relationships with stakeholders, service to customers both internal and external, excellence in operations and systems, and integrity of service delivery and quality improvement.
  • Serve as leader and ambassador to the community and a critical liaison to corporate staff across the organization.
  • Represent Comagine Health locally and make presentations before public and professional audiences as appropriate.
  • Pursue and secure new business opportunities for Comagine and coordinate with other state EDs and SVPs, VPs, and Service Line Leaders and business development team in pursuit of business opportunities across the enterprise.
Requirements:
  • A Master's Degree in a related field (an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience in a related field may be substituted).
  • 12-15 years of experience in a related field.
  • 8-10 years of supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Familiarity with videoconference technology (e.g. Zoom).
  • Ability to organize and coordinate multiple simultaneous tasks in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to motivate and persuade others, including public speaking and presentation on controversial subjects, and ability to write clear, concise, and direct narrative and statistical reports.
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge of quality improvement theory, methods, and tools; and systems thinking in healthcare improvement.
  • Excellent mission-driven ambassador, coalition, and consensus builder, respected community connector to serve as liaison and bridge between communities, clients, and corporate counterparts.
  • An innovator with a passion for the transformation of health and healthcare.
  • An entrepreneur who is intellectually curious and innovative in their thinking.

Salary Range:

$130,000 - $155,000

The salary range posted reflects the range that Comagine is willing to pay for this position. Salary is determined by many factors, including but not limited to geographic location of where the employee will perform their job duties in addition to their knowledge, skills, education, and relevant work experience.
