The Transportation Supervisor will oversee the daily activities of the transportation team at Leaf Home Safety Solutions Inc. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the completion of daily transportation-related tasks
  • Coordinate shipments across all Leaf Home verticals
  • Supervise Shipping Clerk and Operations Clerk
  • Assist team members as needed
  • Provide regular reports to the Director of Logistics and Transportation Manager
  • Recommend process improvements
  • Communicate with transportation vendors
  • Assist in business reviews with vendors
  • Work with managers and team members to implement strategies

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of transportation experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize work
  • Detail-oriented and able to focus on tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to logically connect ideas and evaluate arguments
  • Ability to provide timely and empathetic help
  • Ability to communicate effectively and manage emotions
  • Self-motivated and responsible

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and in a team
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Displays qualitative and quantitative acumen

Work Environment:

Normal office environment with light work requirements.

Travel Requirements:

Less than 10% domestic travel required.
